Mitso is from a poor background in the Eastern Cape, one of the poorest provinces in South Africa. She grew up poor and is always motivated by where she comes from. Mitso has been told may times that she “could not do” or “cannot be” certain things while growing up and in her current journey.
Mitso: “Growing up poor is a burden that children of poor people have to bear to a point of being denied, demotivated and persuaded from dreaming. This toxic trait is perpetuated by all weak minded people of our society. Know this, you have the power to define your story, so do that.”
