Maria is an internationally experienced podcast-radio producer and sound designer based in Berlin with expertise in writing scripts, recording voice, creating SFX (Sound Effects), and sound design for public radio, cultural institutions, language platforms, publishers, and personal video projects.
Ever since she was little, Maria was hypnotized by the sounds of: (SFX TURNING THE PAGES OF A HEAVILY PRINTED NOTEBOOK) and falling asleep whilst listening to: (SFX CRACKLING SOUNDS OF A RADIO). Since then, she’s been woven into the world of sound. While working, she thinks of the sound that she wants to create and enjoys it in her mind; other times she lets sounds choose the place where they want to be in her software session and many times, she finds fascinating sounds in the outside world, ready to be recorded.
With publications in audio and music magazines and have successfully collaborated on projects in Mexico, the UK and Germany, she is happy to work in multicultural environments in small and large-sized teams. Native Spanish, professional proficiency in English, intermediate German.
